Most bridal couples plan around 15-45 minutes for the bridal portraits during the wedding day. They don’t have the time to drive to further locations and of course, they wish to spend this time with their families and friends. This is why an after-wedding photoshoot is a great option if you wish to have photographs on a special or extraordinary location without time pressure. And that’s why, I am in love with engagements, elopements, after wedding photoshoots and styled photo shoots. There is much more time and space to play, try new things and explore new beautiful places.

I first met Laura Schivo at the first edition of Wedding Trade Show – Dream Wedding in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in March 2018. Her beautiful bridal dresses just blew my mind. And I knew from that moment on that she would be that person who will design my dream dress one day. I was expecting that she comes from Munich, but her answer surprised me. She is a local, bridal fashion designer from Farchant, just the next door to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I talked to her for a while and realized that not just her beautiful dresses are extraordinary but also, I sympathized with her approach to her work. High-quality fabrics, fair trade conditions, vegan silk and all that put together with love for details and style. I knew straight ahead that I want to cooperate with this young talented designer.

The great thing is that we are so happy to live in such a beautiful place, surrounded by mountains, lakes, and forests. There was no need for a long search for a great location. At the end decided for two models and 3 locations near Garmisch-Partenkirchen: Kuhfluchtwasserfälle, Birkenwald near Oberammergau, and my favorite place Murnauer Moos.

Jerrianne took care of beautiful make-up and hair styling. Stephanie Berwein made two wonderful bridal bouquets and lovely flower crowns, just for this shooting. Although the weather the days before were full of rain and that the forecast told us that there would be a thunderstorm, we decided to put everything on one card and prayed for no rain. Well, at the end of the day there was no one with dry shoes due to some wet locations, but the weather stayed on our side. Now, I am more than happy to show you the final images from our bridal styled photo shoot.

Die meisten Brautpaare planen am Hochzeitstag etwa 15-45 Minuten für die Brautporträts. Meistens steht wenig Zeit zur Verfügung, um zu weiteren Orten zu fahren und dort Fotos zu machen. Schließlich wollen alle Brautpaare natürlich ihre Zeit auch mit ihren Familien und Freunden verbringen. Fotoshootings nach der Hochzeit sind eine gute Option, wenn Sie Fotos an einem besonderen oder außergewöhnlichen Ort ohne Zeitdruck machen wollen. Und deswegen bin ich so in Engagement Fotoshootings, romantische Elopements und After-Wedding Fotoshootings verliebt. Man hat viel mehr Zeit und Raum, um zu spielen, neue Dinge auszuprobieren und neue schöne Orte zu erkunden.

Ich traf Laura Schivo im März 2018 zum ersten Mal auf der Hochzeitsmesse – Dream Wedding in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Ihre wunderschönen Brautkleider haben mich von Anfang an einfach umgehauen. Von diesem Moment an wusste ich, dass sie diejenige Person sein würde, die eines Tages mein Traumkleid entwerfen würde. Eigentlich hatte ich erwartet, dass sie bestimmt aus München kommt. Ich wurde eines besseren belehrt. Sie ist eine lokale Brautmoden-Designerin aus Farchant, gleich bei Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Ich sprach eine Weile mit ihr und stellte fest, dass nicht nur ihre wunderschönen Kleider außergewöhnlich waren, sondern auch, dass ich ihre Herangehensweise an ihre Arbeit toll fand. Hochwertige Stoffe, faire Handelsbedingungen, vegane Seide und alles mit Liebe zum Detail und Stil. Ich wusste sofort, dass ich mit dieser jungen talentierten Designerin zusammenarbeiten möchte.

Das Schöne ist, dass wir so glücklich sind, an einem so aufregenden Ort zu leben. Umgeben von Bergen, Seen und Wäldern. Somit stand unserem ersten gemeinsamen Fotoshooting nichts mehr im Wege. Wir entschieden uns für zwei Models und drei unterschiedlichen Locations in der Nähe von Garmisch-Partenkirchen: Nahe den Kuhfluchtwasserfällen, dem Birkenwald bei Oberammergau, und meinem Lieblingsort, dem Murnauer Moos.

Jerrianne kümmerte sich um das wunderschönes Make-up und Haarstyling. Stephanie Berwein fertigte eigens für uns zwei wundervolle Brautsträuße und Blumenkrone an. Obwohl das Wetter in den Tagen zuvor regnerisch war und die Wettervorhersage Gewitter ansagte, beschlossen wir, alles auf eine Karte zu setzen und nicht länger zu warten. Am Ende des Tages hatte zwar niemand von uns noch trockene Füße, dank einiger sehr feuchten Stellen, aber das Wetter blieb auf unserer Seite. Ich bin mehr als glücklich, euch die neuesten Bilder von unserem Braut Fotoshooting zeigen zu können.
